Asynchronous motors and PM reluctance motors are often designed for operation at speeds above the rated speed, with simultaneously reduced torque, usually with relatively constant power. Often, 2 to 3 times the rated speed can be achieved without increasing the voltage. Pure PM motors can typically be extended by 30% in their speed range with the AutomaticFieldWeakening module.
