The transformation exhibition of the “Transformationsnetzwerk Ostwürttemberg” (transformation network Ostwuerttemberg) has moved on, from Heidenheim to Schwaebisch Gmuend, with the main topic “Start-Up and Business Models”.
At the official opening ceremony in the town hall, Alexander Groll (Head of the Office for Economic Development and Transformation) gave insights into how cities are transforming. He said that the 2014 State Garden Show and the 2019 Remstal Garden Show had not only “transformed” the cityscape but also brought the people of the city together: “A transformation that also involves the people and has created an exemplary voluntary commitment!”
Afterwards, Sven Koch from Wilhelm Stolz GmbH & Co. KG reported on how tradition and transformation complement each other. Constant change, tailored to customer requirements.
Marcel Nasser offered exciting insights into the work of ARADEX AG and explained why the electrification of on- and off-highway machines and ships is a priority for ARADEX. A field that offers enormous savings in CO₂ emissions. “We have multi-energy solutions in the field of electrification, which means that we have many options in our portfolio for electrification.” In the subsequent discussion, Lord Mayor Richard Arnold demanded: “If you want an energy transition, energy must also be affordable.”
Until February 16, 2025, anyone interested can visit the transformation exhibition in Schwäbisch Gmünd town hall free of charge and learn exciting stories from 16 companies in East Württemberg.
