VECTONUM Embedded Release 3.18.0 is now available. This version supports the Evo-M2 Double Inverter and contains many improvements, the most important at a glance:
New Features
- Supporting new VP600 x8WAxx double inverter devices for traction and functional drives.
- Basic J1939 protocol stack is supported now. User defined PGNs can be defined by VE modules. (Requires charge of an extra package)
- Support for UDS protocol stack for firmware download.
- An improved current controller is calculating a more accurate encoder commutation angle calculation at higher motor speeds.
- Angle measurement system:
- The new automatic encoder/resolver optimization function optimizes inaccuracies online.
- Internal resolver and encoder measurement delay is compensated.
- Solutions for „local grid“:
- The fee-based Grid SCCC function enables the device to control a defined short circuit current in fault-cases of the generated grid system to securely trip fuses on the device generated output grid side.
