ShortCircuitCurrentControl
In LocalGrids generated with inverters, it must be ensured that the associated fuse trips reliably in the event of a short circuit. The technology module detects this situation and switches automatically from regulating the voltage of the LocalGrid to regulated current feed. Once the short circuit has been eliminated, the system switches back to voltage regulation.
For all VECTOPOWER Local Grid solutions
- The technology module detects the presence of a short circuit in real time and switches to feed-in of controlled current
- Similarly, when the short circuit is cleared, the system switches back to normal operation with voltage regulation
- The short-circuit current to be supplied and its duration can be parameterized and thus adapted to the system and the installed fuses.
