“Driving tomorrow” was the motto of this year’s IAA – fittingly, the international commercial vehicle industry from 20.-28.9. showcased impressively, what to expect in the near future of the industry. In addition to digitization, networking and automation, the focus was naturally also on electric mobility and it was clear that the technology shift in mobility towards serial e-mobility is now no longer only the domain of Far Eastern countries. Europe, and above all, Germany are catching up. While in 2016 e-mobility at the IAA was predominantly still very theoretically shaped in the form of models and concept ideas, in 2018 there vehicles ready for series production were exhibited. This development confirms the decision taken a few years ago by ARADEX to seek a second foothold in electric mobility.
ARADEX also had a booth at the IAA and provided information on the latest products and technologies: Flexible inverters and DC / DC converters, efficient electric motors, user-friendly control systems and our partner’s DC / DC converter fuel cell technology were on disply at our booth. ARADEX was able to draw a positive conclusion after the trade fair: on the one hand with regard to overall industry growth and the strong trend towards e-mobility, and and also regarding the huge interest in the ingenious VECTOPOWER technology, which can optimally solve energy management in the drive train.
For all who missed us at the IAA: on 9./10. October we are at Construction Equipment in Hanover and from 16.-18.10. represented at the eMove 360 ° in Munich. We look forward to many interesting discussions.
