We have a responsibility that we fulfill in many ways – in respect to the environment, in education, and in regard to our employees.

Environment

Around 30 percent of the energy in Germany is generated by renewable sources. These primarily include wind, solar, and hydroelectric power plants. Fully electric vehicles that use their energy from these sources have no CO² emissions, are sustainable, and convert the energy they use with a high efficiency.

Diesel-electric or hybrid drive systems are also able to save fuel by 20 to 30 percent since their internal combustion engine runs in an optimum speed range and they re-use the energy from braking. This is a decisive advantage not only on the road but also on the water. International regulations on exhaust gas standards and limit values are being significantly increased in the maritime sector as well.

In addition, resource scarcity is expected to lead to a further increase in the price of coal, gas, and oil. The additional investments for the electrification of a drive system often pay off after only a few years.

With our technology, we help to support the market penetration of electric mobility and therefore a clean, environmentally friendly drive technology. We help our customers develop electromobility applications in various areas in order to be prepared for the future.

Commitment to education

Promoting young talent is of particular importance to ARADEX. This is why ARADEX’s commitment already begins in kindergarten in the form of educational partnerships with a focus on nature and technology. Children experience the natural elements and their effects at experimental stations, which makes natural sciences no longer appear abstract but become alive and comprehensible. The joy of experimenting is preserved for the children, and independent conclusions and exploration are encouraged.

ARADEX is also active as a sponsoring company for the BORS and BOGY vocational orientation projects for interested secondary school pupils. We are happy to introduce young, interested people to the world of innovative electromobility and offer them the opportunity to become familiar with the subject matter in order to facilitate their career choices.

This commitment is also explicitly directed to girls who are interested in natural sciences and who can imagine a profession in a male-dominated industry. In order to provide girls with a basis for decision-making, ARADEX also opens its doors on Girls’ Day to show girls the fascinating world of electromobility.

In addition, we are happy to cooperate with universities in order to enrich the lectures of related courses with a practical influence. Our chairman of the board, Thomas Vetter, is also a frequent guest lecturer in regular university courses.
